Isn't Cheese the most Random invention?!

Question:

Isn't Cheese the most Random invention?

Don't get me rong, I love cheese, but it occured to me that it is really odd. Basicly, you squeeze juice from a mamal like a cow or a goat, then you let it go off and harden, then, if your really keen you let it go a bit mouldy, then you put it on a cracker and eat it with port! Does that not seem a bit strange?

Wow, at last, someone that thinks like me. I used to think that about buttered toast - how the hell was that invented????

Great question!!!

it's not really an invention... :/

Love it!

But can you now explain Buffalo motzerella!

Actually i've just eaten, please dont!

Yes, and you didn't even mention the rennet, how they worked that bit out I don't know... and don't want to know.

Yeah, and how do you go from grass-looking plants to bread? Whoever figured that out was a genius!

stranger things have happened!!.....
Cheese wasn't really invented though.

Yep, it makes you wonder how it was thought of. Must have been a few people really bored in their cave in a milk testing contest. This would make a good film

Mushrooms are wierder, you basically grow a fungus on Poo then eat it. Whereas normally you would not go anywhere near Poo and throw out anything with Fungus on it.

cheese was too invented. it doesn't make itself or grow on trees. really, lots of food is strange. like, who would think of some of these things? how about noodles?

Not at all..!

The moto IS waste not want not
an excess of milk is spring and you may face a famin in winter.
A neglected pot of milk turned to cheese would be a life saver..

Cheese is gods gift to man.

Wine is.

I totally agree, but I wouldn't call it an 'invention'. Kind of though the same thing about tea and coffee. Why would it occur to somebody to take some berry like things, heat them, then put the 'burnt things' in water and drink the result???
