What can you do to buy meat that comes from humanely raised and killed animals?!

Question:

What can you do to buy meat that comes from humanely raised and killed animals?

Answers:
I can't say I have the best answer, but usually free range meat is not housed in such "inhumane" conditions.

And kosher meat has been slaughtered in a "humane" way.

So if you can find free range kosher you're doing ok I guess?

Good luck!

Raise them, and kill them yourself. Kinda hard to do after you name them, and watch them grow up!!

what difference does it make? You're just gonna eat it.

you can go to a food co-op or find a farm that is around u that selles there own meat and things like that.

I'm not sure exactly what it means to humanely kill something, but Whole Foods usually has very organic/environmentally friendly foods. Also avoid veal, which everyone knows is just cruel.

Stop eating meat.

I don't undersand why people even care about how the animals are killed. I mean it doesn't make the meat taste any different. I don't think primitive man worried about how he killed the animal to eat he just did it ate it and went on with his life.

but if you're concerned about how the animals are raised and killed you need not to eat meat.

kobe beef -cows that are massaged and treated like royalty until their death.

eat kosher or organic meat

Find a local farmer who butchers his own animals, or raise your own.

Most are nowadays. There are certain standards that have to be maintained or the RSPCA will close them down, and so will the Health Department.
