Best Italian in Buffalo, NY? Best pizza?!

Question:

Best Italian in Buffalo, NY? Best pizza?

I'm stationed in italy right now, but i'm still missin Frank's Sunny Italy's tortellini alfredo.. and would love a couple slices from mattina's.. what's your favorite?

Answers:
Love Frank's! La Nova has great Pizza and I love the BBQ Wings.

The best way to get a taste of what you missed, assuming you can cook, is to imitate the recipe. If you are in Italy, you are able to ask the chef in a local restaurant to duplicate these dishes and they will gladly comply. You can tell them that it may need additional seasonings for your taste, but other than that you are in business. You should make many happy food memories while in Italy.
MANGE !!!

About an hour from Buffalo, in a small town called Bemus Point, is a wonderful little Italian restaurant called the Italian Fisherman. They are open during the summer months, and serve everything from poultry, steaks, noodles, to salads. Their food is excellent. As a bonus, you have a choice of eating inside with the air conditioning or outside with the breeze coming off Chautauqua Lake.
Pizza wise, I love Lena's Pizza in Fredonia (about 40 minutes from Buffalo). They have so many toppings they literally fall off the plate.
Sorry I don't have any suggestions for Buffalo itself, but sometimes I think the best restaurants are in the quiet suburbs.
