Can you put a glass cup on the flat glass stove tops?
Can I boil water in a glass on the stove top or will will it shatter or will it be fine? I always thought you could do the same ceramics because they are fired at 1300 degree but they break.

It will shatter. It doesn't have the temperament to handle the intense heat.
the uneven heating of the cup will ussually break it. even if it is oven safe. use the microwave if you only want to boil a cup of water.

Drinking glasses are made out of a different kind of glass than things like glass pans and baking dishes. When placed on the stove the glass expands unevenly and becomes stressed. The old Pyrex glass saucepans are made to take this kind of stress. Using glass not rated for stove top use is extremely dangerous and will likely result in some breaking, possibly with force. On the T.V. show Mythbusters they heated a lava lamp on the stove and showed that the resulting explosion was potentially lethal. Please never put glass on the stove top unless it is marked safe for stove top use.
