Answers:
While I don't know specifically about this particular Asian group (Hainanese). I can say that there are MANY cultures around the world that will eat foods that our society won't.
Frog sushi in Japan, Frog legs in France (AND the USA)
Roasted grubs in many countries - http://www.foodreference.com/html/artins...

Rest assured, if you are eating in a restaurant in the USA,
your meal will not include any of the animals you are worried about.

no ,put it in google and there is chicken recipes

Dog does not have the same dietary interdict on it in Asia, China included, that it has in many (might as well say all) Western cuisines. That said, I'd be highly surprised -- as, probably, would be your local food standards fellas -- if your local Hainanese restaurant would even think of serving such unless you're actually going to dinner in Hainan itself?

Here's a quick & dirty summary of Hainan cuisine which, though perhaps not among the recognised 'great' Chinese cuisines, never mind a high point of one, still has dishes of considerable charm, even so:

Hope this helps some of the way at least.

Oh no, you got it all wrong! Hainanese food is good chinese
food and they are all over the world. An example is the Hainanese chicken rice. Nothing to do with eating cats and dogs. You must be very ignorant or stupid in believing it.
