Pork chops and bacon?!

Question:

Pork chops and bacon?

Why do pork chops and bacon taste different when they are both from the same animal?

Answers:
What an odd question! You really ponder this? They are from different parts of the animal, for one thing. Bacon is usually smoked, it is thinner, is is cut differently, they are processed differently. etc...etc... That's like asking why prime rib and hamburger taste different.

#1 they came from different parts of the pig
#2 porkchop is fresh and bacon has been cured
If you bought smoked porkchop it would taste like ham

cause bacon has a lot of salt and is from the butt of the pig.

and pork is less fat and low in salt and comes from the thighs and legs of the pig.

i recommend not eating either.

pork is really bad for you stick with beef.

from the staff of http://www.boeafitness.com

because the bacon is cured(in a salt brine)and then lightly smoked. Where as pork chops are fresh(not cured)

they are different cuts of meat

Certainly. The are processed differently.

Duh cos its prepared diffrently
