In America, are all hotdogs made of pork?
In my religion, I cannot eat pork so I was wondering when I bought a hotdog the otherday if America manufactures mostly beef or pork hotdogs.
Answers:
Beef, chicken and turkey hotdogs are quite common in America. When you purchase a prepared hot dog you can ask the vendor if they are beef. Many sports arenas and the like serve only all-beef hot dogs, because there are many people like yourself who don't eat pork.
hebrew national brand is 100% all beef hot dogs.
Most of them are pork, but you can buy beef, chicken, and even veggie hot dogs.

No............read the ingrediants list.
some specifically state all beef hotdogs.
Hot dogs can be made from most anything. Pork, beef, chicken and turkey are the most used meats. They may be of just one type of meat or any combination.
Hot dogs are made of different meats, however the parts of that type of meat are more than likely not any part that you would normally eat.
Read the label and it will tell you what is in it.
