Answers:
in a fridge. Like anything that oxidizes you want to put it in an enviorment with a limited oxygen supply, thats why people put fruits in tupperware and stuff. but if you're gonna do tupperware make sure u poke a hole in it so air can circulate throughout
Fridge. That first answer...moron!
in the fridge, hot stuff
Take them out of the container, don't wash them but put them in a papertowel line container in the fridge. Another good thing is do not stack them too tightly together or they will bruise and start to rot. Wash them before you use them.
Fridge. but DONT wash them until you are ready to eat. They last good week that way. Leave them in container they came in as well. I also don't use my fridge drawers, but put them on the shelf.
fridge usually keeps them fresher and reduces mold
fridge is fine... and ignore that alyssa girl.. shes jealous!

Please store your strawberries in your refrig in a container that is porous. they need to be able to breathe or they will turn mushy. Also do not wash your strawberries until you are ready to use or eat them. Hope this helps!
Leave fresh, ripe strawberries at room temperature, and you'll have rot and/or mold growing in a matter of hours.
drop them in the fridge and they'll start to dry out and shrivel in a day or so.
Try putting them in a brown paper bag in the fridge, or lay a damp paper towel over the top of the plastic container they come in, and then refrigerate.
I find you have to eat them as quickly as possible. Preferably with some chocolate melted over them. The fridge will keep them fresh for a day, but you should really eat them right away.
Most strawberries are infested with spores of( black bread mold.) This mold is tempature sinsitive for growth to start. Cold slows the growth way down. Do not wash the berrys until you plan to use them. Washing removes the natural protection from the berry and allows breakdown to start.
Do not worry about the black mold spores. They are on all kinds of thing you eat they just have not started to grow.
I've heard that the rule of thumb is that if the store refrigerates them, so should you. My grocery store always has them refrigerated.
