That's right, it does depend on where you live. Here in Pennsylvania, USA, it's easy enough to find wasabi peanuts at all the supermarkets. They're in the same aisle as the other nuts/snacks, and popcorn. You might also look in the fresh produce department.

Or, you can make your own. You'll need some shelled peanuts, some wasabi powder, and some lemon juice (and some salt, if the peanuts are not already salted). Mix 2 tablespoons of wasabi powder with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, in a large bowl. If desired, also add 1 teaspoon of salt. Whisk everything together, and then let the mixture rest for about 15 minutes--this is important when you're using wasabi.

Add the peanuts to the bowl, and stir to thoroughly coat them. Spread the coated peanuts out on a cooking sheet, and put the sheet in a 250 degree oven. Let the peanuts warm up, and dry out, for about 30 minutes---and shake the cooking sheet after about 15 minutes, to make sure the peanuts dry evenly.

It Depends where you live ..........!

2. jewel

Id suggest call first ( safe you the trip )
