NCL (norweigen cruise line) banana drink?!

Question:

NCL (norweigen cruise line) banana drink?

went on a cruise to the eastern carribean and asked the waitress what the most popular drink they served was and she came back with this wonderful banana drink. It was creamy, with real banana blended in. and tasted exactly like a ripe banana. Ive tried to recreate it, but havnt even come close. Ive searched websites looking for banana daiquiris, dirty banana, banana coladas and tried a dozen or so. They all had coconut in them, or lime and I think that was the problem. If someone knows someone from a bar/cruiseline bartender from the carribean that makes it I would be very greatful. Ive done searches at like webtender and allrecipes. thanks

It is a banana drink, not a bahama mamma and I think it may be a dirty banana. Ive heard it is one of the most popular drinks on the carribean cruises. I just have not found a recipe for it that matches the taste. As I said it tastes like a ripe sweet banana, and it is a frozen drink. White mixture with some texture to it as you can taste it is made with real bananas.

Here is one recipe i don't know if is the same, but you can get more recipes for banana drinks at www.cooks.com

BAHAMA MAMAS

2 c. pina colada or chi chi mix
2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
1 sm. can frozen orange juice
1/4 c. grenadine
1 qt. rum

Mix together and freeze ingredients. Add 7-Up or ginger ale to frozen mixture when serving. May add mashed bananas to frozen mixture if desired.

If I remember correctly from my cruise it's a Bahama Mama! They were darn fine drinks too!

Laura Secord Dairy! Beatrice Dairy, and some Dairy Queens have it on special two-nee days! The Dairy Queen one isn't as good but it's cheaper! The creamy secret is coconut milk and dream whip! Mashup banna mix and gel then mix with the icecream coconut milk, dream whip. Tastes exactly like an overripe banana! Called: A Tallyman Banana cream dream! Oh I want one now!
