Do eating spicy foods speed up ur metabolisum?!

Question:

Do eating spicy foods speed up ur metabolisum?

Answers:
Yes they do. Spicy foods such as peppers - red, green and other varieties contain a chemical called Capsaicin. This on entering your blood via the gastro -intestinal tract cause a rise in temperature, increased breathing rate, dilation of blood vessels. The body in trying to cope with these changes starts working faster which is boosting or speeding your metabolism. Try this link for more information,

Hope this helps.

Yes. I have read many diet books that will attest to this.

no why would they?

Yes but even better is two cups of green tea a day. I do one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

I have read several times that hot peppers speed up your metabolism. But it doesn't help much if you are putting them on a big cheese enchilada or something. Green tea supposedly speeds the metabolism as well.

I have heard that it does, but I have seen no evidence of this in myself. I eat spicy all the time.

yes they do and they also decongest you

no
