What are some tasty vegetables to bbq?
I'm having some friends over today and a few of them really enjoy vegetables.

Also, I do not want to buy extra 'hardware'. Veggies must be large enough to not fall through the grills. Thanks

Buy some bamboo skewers at the grocery store and soak 'em in water for an hour.
Then thread cherry tomatoes, thick chunks of red onion and mushrooms (after they've all been tossed w/ olive oil, pressed garlic and basil)
No worries about stuff falling into the grill.
YUM!!
I think as long as the vegetable won't fall through the grill grating, it can be (and should be) grilled.
One of my all-time favorites is grilled corn on the cob. Even people who hate vegetables seem to like corn. Just shuck the corn, and remove all the silk. But save several pieces of the husk. Re-wrap the corn in some pieces of husk, and use several lengths of cotton string or twine to hold the husk in place....don't just use one piece of string; if it burns away, the whole thing will fall apart.
Soak the wrapped corn in plain, cool water for at least 30 minutes before you're ready to grill. Then, put in on the hot grill, and turn it frequently. When the skin is all covered in black/burnt spots, it's ready.
Also, almost any vegetable can be sliced up into thick slabs, painted with olive oil, and grilled. Squash, zucchini, and even large onions are good this way.
grilled eggplant...delicious
Corn on the cob is great on the bbq
Llighty coat these with olive oil and a little salt and throw them right on the grill/
Eggplant, aspargus and onions (slice them thick - they fall through easily).
Eggplant, zucchini, giant scallions, and corn on the cob are my faves.
whole head of garlic.... really good even though you wouldn't believe it. Corn, onions, peppers, zucchini.
Bell peppers,onions,eggplant work really well
Any of these veggies mentioned would be wonderful. However, we wrap them in little packets of foil, never fall through the grill or overcook.
Eggplant and zucchini are good as well as cubenel peppers.
red bell peppers, green bell peppers, mushroom, eggplant, onion, and pineapple...
skewer these colorful vegetables and then marinate them in soy sauce, sugar ,olive oil and pineapple juice
This hawaiian colorful vege medley is a hit because it tastes so exotic, and it looks so pretty..red, green, beige, purple and yellow...and its the pineapple makes it refreshing!
any color pepper, onion, mushrooms, corn on the cob, zucchini, some people will do tomatoes too (but i'm not a fan)
light coat of olive oil, and try some yellow squash, zuchinni squash, and eggplant, with some onions. you can cut the onions in half, and cut big slices of veggies, or you can put them on skewers.
bon appetite
