How long can you eat yogurt after the sell by date?!

Question:

How long can you eat yogurt after the sell by date?

Answers:
You can eat it after the expiration date. Actually, that "expiration date" is really the "sell-by" date, it doesn't mean the yogurt expires on that date. You can eat it as long as it is not at all moldy and smells OK. Sometimes, depending on your fridge etc. this can be as long as 2-3 weeks after the sell-by date. Put it in the back of your fridge where it won't be exposed to any warm air and put petroleum jelly on the fridge gasket to ensure your fridge is working to full capacity (that's an energy saving tip too).

Unless it's made you sick and you ate it by accident? Don't worry about it.

However, it's recommended on ANY product that you not exceed the expiration.

less than tens days. the sell by date just warns you to not leave it in the fridge to long.

No more than 7

three days tops!

idk think you can but maybe after 3 days

A few days in my opinion, but I wouldn't eat it much past that...

I've eaten it a few weeks after the expiration date with no problems (and I can have a weak stomach at times), but I don't think you get the benefits of the good acidophilous bacteria in the yogurt if you eat it after the expiration date.
