I am 16 and i eat a lot of chocolates.....?

i eat a lot of sweet foods
now i am kind off scared ...that i may get sugar(diabetes)
wht should i do to prevent it
at the same time having sugary foods(may a bit less)

Answers:
The answer is always to try and cut back. You could try to stop eating the sweets all together, but then how much fun is that?!? LOL! Plus you'll just end up wanting the sugar more. You should try replacing (for example) one candy bar with one piece of fruit. Banana's work especially well because there is something in them that curbs the surgar craving. And kudos to you for being young and wanting to change your eating habits to lead a healthier life!!

Then stop eating things like that. Eat stuff that have natrual sugars like veggies and fruits. Their wayyy better than chocolates. chocolate is actually good for the skin cause it oxidates it.

1. have only sugar free sweets
2. consume less chocolate (temptation)
3. don't by buy them
4. see your doctor

If this problem runs in the family...i would try to cut back on sweets and carbs. Some things u jus cant prevent. But if u have a weight problem then try ur best to cut back.. I luv chocolates also, and I didnt become a diabetic til I was close to 40. Hang in there.

cut down your sweet foods intake, and turn to fruits and vegitables, or have strawberrys dipped a little in chocolate, so you get a bit of the healthy and of what you want....also go for dark chocolate thats the healthest type

You ought to be scared about getting Type 2 diabetes... as that was the way that Hally berry became diabetic.

Eat a lot of fresh fruits and coffee in order to regulate your blood sugar and reduce your cravings.

Trust me, your teeth and gums.... as well as your pants will thank you

try to stop eating sweets and eat good foods
