Does green tea turn your teeth green?!

Question:

Does green tea turn your teeth green?

I have heard that drinking green tea is really healthy, but I have been hesitant to try it because I am afraid that it will turn my teeth green. Does that happen?

Answers:
no I never had that problem. Good luck.

no it never happened with me and i used to drink around 3 huge cups of it a day

yes, a little. when i went to the dentist they could tell that i drank green tea by the color that it stained my teeth. its not a drastic color change but be sure to brush your teeth after you drink it

Maybe, a little.

no it does have tannin(pigment that causes stains) in it, but I seriously doubt it ... Absolutely, green tea will turn your teeth GREEN. Unless you are Shrek, ..

Not noticeably, I wouldn't think. I assume you don't drink coffee if you're concerned about staining your teeth?

It might a little, depends on the chemicals in it and how they affect your teeth.

no
