Hard Boiled Easter Eggs...?!

Question:

Hard Boiled Easter Eggs...?

Ok, so I had these hard boiled eggs on a table just for display since easter, and one day, all of a sudden, one of them starts spewing this rancid brown liquid. It smelled like really bad rubber, or melting silly puddy or something like that. It took the dye right off the egg too. It was weird. What is it? And why does it happen?

Answers:
~~~ ohhhh,,,please just through them in the trash,,,a far away dumpster is what I would do,,,,,,their just tooo old,,,,didnt get refridgerated,,,,so they have spoiled,,,,,,its getting gross and liquidy because all the egg components are breaking down,,,,decomposing,,,,,,pleas... just throw them away,,,,,,
i am not sure what it was but the eggs rotted out just like any other cooked food left out on the table
Uck !!! If you want to decorate and display eggs for a LONG time after Easter is over, you need to start off with empty eggshells...pierce both ends of the eggs and blow the insides out of them before dyeing/decorating them. Your eggs are spoiled...in other words, they rotted! Be glad they didn't explode and redecorate your whole room!
the eggs rotted
Food spoils when it is left out. Eggs spoil faster than other food.
You left them out, they spoiled. It wasn't weird, it's what happens. Dying the shells doesn't preserve the egg.
