Are those Easiyo yoghurts really good for you?!

Question:

Are those Easiyo yoghurts really good for you?

I'm watching a similar product on shopping TV, and wondering if these things are actually as good for you as shop-bought stuff? i'm wary of the powder sachets - are they all just fake flavourings??! Thanks in advance.

Answers:
Probably loaded witn sugar, preservatives, and colorings!!!

They're pretty much same as a shop bought youghurt, you pour sachet into water and put in pot surrounded with boiling water for 6 hours and there'es your yoghurt. They're a lot better than the ones I remember my mum making when I was a kid (probably why I didn't eat yoghurt for many years) If you get the natural or Greek sachets there's no sugar unless you add it.
They do have the 'good' bacteria that you can buy in certain pots of yoghurt.
The only downside is I've only seem the sachets in one shop, Lakeland and it doesn't seem any cheaper than buying a 1litre tub from supermarket, otherwise I would have one myself as I eat natural yoghurt most days fro breakfast. I make and sell Easi YO at work in a secondary school.

It seems like if you break it down, the more 'unnatural' stuff that you find in your foods, the WORSE it really is for you (according to every book/reference on nutrition Ive ever read...) I dont know about that one in particular...but I would suggest sticking to the more simple, natural types.

I think they taste fake, i brought one just after Xmas only used it twice, i have gone back to buying mine, although you can make your own with a tablespoon of natural yogurt and a pint of warm milk put both the milk and the yogurt in a flask and leave it over night next morning pour it in to glasses and cover use within two days, just add your own toppings.
