How long does it take to digest gum?!

Question:

How long does it take to digest gum?

I hear many different answers. I want the real answer. please help!

Answers:
Nope, that's just a myth. ITS DOESNT TAKE 7 YEARS! In fact, our stomach doesn't digest gum at all! Since it's made out of soluble fiber, chewing gum passes right through us. So gum comes out with the rest of your waste, usually a day or two after you eat it. Although you shouldn't swallow chewing gum, it is not considered harmful.

2 minutes or less if you have a good stomach.

people say 7 years

Actually, very little of the bubblegum is digestible. As you chew
bubblegum, the sugars in it are released and are absorbed within an hour or
two. If you swallow the gum, most of it passes through the intestine
without being absorbed and it excreted in the feces. A small part of the
gum may be digested and absorbed within the first 24-36 hours after you
swallow it.

my dad is a doctor he said it takes 1 year
