Drink warnings..?!

Question:

Drink warnings..?

..thanks, I actually thought drinking Special Brew in the park & smoking 40 Marlboro a day was actaually good for me. Does this crap REALLY work?

Answers:
They really do take us for idiots don't they?

Im not sure if it would really work, but its worth a try I guess.

=]

its probably more of a liability thing. so if u get killed in a car crash driving drunk they are not liable for it

Its good to know how much is in what and how much an advised daily 'allowence' is but its not going to make me drink less or slow down or think about it that much while im doing it!

That's odd, because I thought those warnings were developed specifically for people who supported West Ham, LOL!

people say you can ahve 2 units and still be ok to drive.

i think specifying the units in each drink will encourage more people to gamble and drink drive. i think people will think like " if they have had 2 units an hour ago then one more a few minutes ago then that could still be 2 units and i can drive" but alcohol affects everyone differently.

i see no benefit for stating the units in alcoholic drinks

All I can say is anything to get the young people to slow down on their intake has to be worth a try.

If only you understood the damage that you are doing to your bodies and how many of you are going to suffer terrible illness in only a few years time!

I watched a friend die recently from pancreitis (I think thats how its spelt!) this was caused by excessive boozing in his 20's. He wasnt an alcholic or anything like that.

40 is no age to die at.

Booze in excessive amount will turn your mind to mush actually, and media says drinking healthy true if you drink one or two drinks, but not the whole 24 pack case of beer. Smoking will just get in laters time, but excessive drinking will wear you out quicker mentally, and phyiscally. Smoking is bad for your health, but its not like a person drinking getting into a car, and crashing it into a innocent bystander and killing somone, or yourself. Smoking a slow death, and excessive drinking is actually a quick death.

The warnings on cigarette packets don't work do they!
