Burger meat?!

Question:

Burger meat?

When burger meat has spent a long time in the freezer and it got freezer burned badly. What do you do with the meat? Is it still good or do you throw it away?

Answers:
If it is freezer burnt then you dont have to throw it away.It is still safe but it makes it sometimes lose it's taste. To save it longer you caould wrap the meat in a layer of plastic wrap and then in a layer of aluminum foil(double up!).

Throw it away... better safe than sorry

Throw it.

I boil it for my dog.

I always say When in doubt throw out.

I had the same thing happen. I'm cheap and did not want to throw out the burger, so I sliced off the burnt bits and cooked it. The burger had a freaky taste to it. I now store as little as possible in the freezer and try to eat lean fresh burger...it is the only way to go. As other folks said ....chuck it out! tf

If it's freezer burned, just throw it out.

Toss it. It has dried out and is not salvedgable
