Question:

Are there any health risks to eating 2 ears of fresh corn on the cob?

Answers:
Depends on if you're one of the 15% of all people who suffer from acute sensitivity to gluten. This condition is a misdiagnosed common problem resulting in constipation, irregularity and other digestive disturbances. Corn has among the highest gluten content of any grain.

Eat a couple of ears and if you have any such toilet problems,,,
....check it out on the Web.

not that i know of

I'd at least rinse the corn first.

no corn is supposed to be good for you.

Maybe the corn getting stuck in your teeth. =>

no

Corn contains a lot of fruit sugar, and they are as sweet as honey. If you are diabetic, you 'd better watch it.

Corn syrup, you can find this ingredients in most candy and cereal. They aren't that good for you, do they?

OH, what else? The scientists are saying burn corn crop can produce electricity, now you see how much energy, sugar or you can say calories are in corn.

no, but you'll have lots of 'ornaments' in your poo.

is it going to be cooked or raw? i don't think there's any problem either way

Nope.... and it will really clean out your insides...

And I am still assuming you will COOK the corn on the cob, right? If not, there is a slight chance of some bacteria if not cleaned well, but that chance is slim.

Nope, you have nothing to worry about.
Infact its really good for you because its full of fibre and vitamins and great for cleaning out your digestive system!
So eat as much or as little as you want. :-)

gas and maybe a little stomach pain associated with the gas. nothing too serious, but that is quite a bit of corn.

Depends on the amount of "real" butter you use.
How this is really done (I never did it), you butter a slice of light bread and curve it around the Corn and roll the corn.

No, Unless you glob it all up in excessive butter =)
