Question:

How long does it take for a "Red Delicious" Apple to go bad?

I've had red delicious apples in my fridge now for a little over 2 weeks...they seem to be fine. Do you think they are ok too eat?

Answers:
I just ate a red delicious apple ive had in the fridge for the past 2 weeks and it tasted wonderful. Apples can last for quite some time, I find when turning brown/soft on outside, time to toss them. If still red and healthy looking * slice it on up and yummmmmmmmmmm*

Yes, their fine. They might not be as crisp as you like, but apples will keep in the fridge quite a while.

you can only tell when you cut into it if it is grainy it is not good.

if bit or cut one day
if left outside of the fride for 2 weeks or so
if left in fridge about 3 weeks to a month

red delicious are bad from the moment they are picked. try something delicious such as a pink lady, fuji, or braeburn.

they are just fine eat them and enjoy long as they are not rotten
