Does anybody remember Spangles? they were hard fruity sweets in the late 70's and early 80's and also Pacers? the green and white spearmint chews? Anybody think of anything else

i remember spangles, they had really tangy sugery peieces in them, they were awesome. weren't ringos theose crisps that were perfectly round with lil lumps on them? think golden wonderrs made them. where the hell did golden wonders go??

My lost love from the sweet shop of the 70's has to be nutty bars, made by Roundtrees in the brown cellophane wrapper.

Yeah - I remember the spearmint things - Im sure I saw them in Woolworths pick & mix not long ago!

I loved Spangles. They were always in Christmas selection boxes. So tasty. They made a comeback about 6-7 years ago, but alas there was no call for them and they were taken off the shelf for the last time.

can anyone remember jublies (spelling?) a triangular frozen orange thing that used to shoot across the floor if you squeezed the base too hard hmn never finished one yet

Spangles have been going a lot longer than that. They were briefly revived in the 1970s, having died out in the 60s.

Yes, I remember them all. Also Texan bars and Fish n Chip crisps!

You can still get Ringos and Spangles.

i remember spangles i preferred the old english spangles to the fruit ones

i think they tried to revive them a few years ago

at meijers there is a section with candy from "back in the day"..necco wafers,boston baked beans,and some other vintage candies..
