Sugar is from the sugar cane. When the liquid is crystallised, the sugar crystals are naturally white. Check this link:

good

obviously not. They use Bleach

I never hear of animal bones being used to whiten anything.

So you don't eat meat, fish, poultry, dairy products or eggs? And now no sugar?

I think it's an extremely unbalanced diet, if you don't mind my saying so.

You know why bananas taste so sweet these days? Because of genetic engineering, like it or not.

Sugar is not whitened with anything as it is a natural crystalline substance. Where do you get this ridiculous idea of using animal bones?

Vegan too. You mean they use bones! Yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I heard that McDonalds uses beef to flavor chips but never this. Why are people so mean?

No silly. Sugar is just naturally white
