What can I use as a filling with sweet potatoes?!

Question:

What can I use as a filling with sweet potatoes?

I've tried cheese, which was okay - but not great. I also tried soured cream, which tasted kinda bad. Any other suggestions that don't involve meat?

Answers:
Have you tried marshmallows or marshmallow creme. Add cinnamon and nutmeg and you've got yourself a real treat!

mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, butter and pecans - and maybe even some marshmallows.

Butter with cinnamon (maybe a few small marshmallows)

That is all you need

My top 8 fillings (all vegetarian)
1. Mature cheddar, and diced spring onions
2. red Leicester cheese and creamy crunchy coleslaw (homemade)
3. garlic mayo
4. Rich Chili (,qourn with onions in a rich sauce of tomatoes, cumin, chilis garlic and herbs)
5. mushrooms and onion in a creamy thick cheese sauce
7 Best dairy butter
8. garlic mushrooms with mixed peppers, and onions

I wish I knew what you meant by "filling"? You don't say how you're cooking the sweet potatoes. Do you mean something to have with a baked sweet potato?? Or a side dish of some sort? You can mash your sweet potatoes with a little butter and cream and add cinnemon and crushed (drained) pineapple. You can slice them however thick, cook them in a fry pan on med. to med high heat in a little bit of olive oil (few tablespoons), then add seasonings after they are done. You can also put a little olive oil on a shallow pan, slice them, spread them on the pan, turn over so both sides get coated with the oil. Add some mixed seasoning blend or crushed rosemary, and bake at 400 deg. Watch so they don't burn. Or if you're looking for a side dish to go with them, why not a salad? Or a green veggie? Or both?

bake your potato, then slice them long ways, scoop out the middle, mash them with butter alittle cinnamin and honey, fill the potatoes with the mashed mixture and bake for another 20 min. good

Sweet: walnuts and or pecans, brown sugar, butter, minced carrot. Spices (cinnamon, cardimum, A PINCH of clove) Use one or any combination of those as you are baking the spuds.

Or

Savory: Diced sauted mushrooms and any of the above ingerdients minus the brown sugar. Spices ( thyme, rosemary, sage, parsley)

Good luck.
