How to Make Peanut Butter
If you can find a good, inexpensive supply of peanuts, then making peanut butter may help save money while providing your own tasty batch of homemade peanut butter. This recipe is adapted from the cookbook Not Just Beans. Makes about 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter.

Ingredients
2 cups roasted peanuts
1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
Steps
Pour 2 cups of roasted peanuts into a food processor bowl that has metal food processor blade attached. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil. Cover the bowl with the food processor lid and chop the peanuts continuously for 2 to 3 minutes or until the mixture forms a ball.
Scrape down the food processor bowl, if needed, when processing the peanuts.
Spoon peanut butter into a jar and seal. Store in the refrigerator.

Tips
Taste the freshly made peanut butter and add a touch of salt, if needed.
For a sweeter taste, add small quantities of brown sugar or molasses.

with peanuts

Nothing could be easier. You just need raosted peanuts and a food processor or a blender. Most peanut butter bought in stores is packed with saturated fat, catch is - the saturated fat comes from the oil they add to make it shelf stable.
The only downside is it takes a very strong processor or blender. Peanut butter will burn out a cheap model, fast.

with peanuts of course
