What's in the "natural flavor" that's in fake bacon bits?!

Question:

What's in the "natural flavor" that's in fake bacon bits?

Answers:
I think it's mostly salt and "smoke flavoring" (usually derived from sawdust or actually wood smoked over a fire, it's also an antimicrobial) with other "spices", which can include mustard and other cooking spices. If there is dried/powdered meat products for flavoring, they must be listed as such. Bacos, if you read the label, is suitable for vegetarians. It is also soy based, Kosher, and MSG-free. The world may never know. Lol.

often times a company has a special recipe that they have patented so they dont have to list all ingredients...they can say spices or flavorings...etc.... sorry i dont know but personally i think they are yummy in a rush
