What is the difference between cream of broccoli and broccoli and cheese soup?!

Question:

What is the difference between cream of broccoli and broccoli and cheese soup?

Answers:
Cream of... is usually mikl/cream, butter, etc. The same basic start for all "cream of" soups and it is usually blended, or smooth.

Broccoli and Cheese can be made using whatever flavers you like to create a soup. veggies and all. then slowely melt cheese (fontina is yummy) into the soup to give it a creamy consistancy. Can be whatever smooth or chunky.

There is cream in one, and cheese in the other. They taste very simmilar though.

one has cheese and the other doesnt? I don't know, sorry.

Sounds yummy.

cheese

no clue

cream of broccoli is pure broccoli and no cheese like condensed broccoli good as an additive to stews or roast and such.

cream of broccoli soup is more like a puree' texture with no cheese, whereas broccoli and cheese soup obviously have bits of broccoli in a cheesey smooth soup.

I believe cream of has a milk or cream base no cheese.

cream of broccoli doesn't have cheese in it. just milk or cream.

Cream of broccoli is a cream based soup, with broccoli added - yummy. Broccoli and cheese quite similar, usually cream based as well, except for the fact that a lot of cheese is added. Hope I've helped!

CHEsse
