How many calories does an average sized boiled potato have?!

Question:

How many calories does an average sized boiled potato have?

like a plain potato the size of a baked potato but boiled plain with nothing on it? is it low calorie? can i eat it if im dieting?

Answers:
Potatoes are great for dieting, as long as you don't load them up with anything fattening. Try putting salsa on a baked tater....it's low calorie and fat free, and it tastes delicious! Potatoes eaten with the skin provide nearly half of the Daily Value for vitamin C and are one of the best sources of potassium and fiber. One medium-sized potato has 100 calories and provides complex carbohydrates needed to fuel our brains and bodies, giving us the energy we need for a busy lifestyle.

100 calories, if it's plain.

Boiled
Portion size - 180
per 100 grams (3.5 oz) - 80 calories
energy content - Low calorie

there's a chart on the link that gives the info for all the ways a potato can be cooked...........
