What are some wierd but yummy ways to eat Vegemite?!

Question:

What are some wierd but yummy ways to eat Vegemite?

I like it on toasted Turkish bread with avocado. My grandfather drinks it in hot water like Bovril and his mother used to put it in scrambled eggs. I think my way of eating it is yummier than theirs though - is yours?

Answers:
vegemite spread on sushi is rather yummy

and used as a dip with carrot sticks or other vegies.

mmm. i'm working up the courage to try a dollop of vegemite with vanilla ice-cream. or to make a vegemite milkshake!

*edit* i did try the vegemite and ice-cream (a small amount of both) - it's pretty rad! first there's the sweetness of ice-cream, then the lingering vegemite flavour... kinky!

i just lick it out of the jar (not weird)

Vegemite is good to add to soup to give it a bit of flavour. Also Vegemite and peanuts or Vegemite and chips (crisps) sandwiches are good. I also know someone who has Vegemite on crumpets.

I have vegemite on crumpets but my favourite is with poached eggs on toast. It really adds something when you put it on the toast and have the yolk still runny. Yumm!!

mmm, vegemite on crumpets IS good! I once knew someone who used to spread it on weetbix and eat them (dry, obviously). That seemed kind of odd to me, I would much rather have it on hot, buttered toast. Think I might have to go and have some now!

ps. one of my aunts spent a large part of her (much) younger years living off vegemite 'soup' (vegemite mixed in hot water)...
