read the instructions on the box

The answer is on the BOX..
But here's some easy directions for you. Boil about 5 cups of water with a little salt and a little oil , add the macaroni boil it about 5 or 6 min, stir a few times while it's cooking... drain it, add about a tablespoon of butter, and a 1/4 cup of milk, with the cheese packet, stir it, so it's blended. Done!!

If you do not have a box to follow directions on, then........
Boil noodles
Add shredded cheese and about 1/2 c of milk., salt, and pepper. Mix together thoroughly. If the cheese is a little runny, add more cheese.
This is what I call a "wing it" recipe.

Boil the macaroni in salted water with a little oil ( keeps the pasta from sticking and the water from boiling over). Drain and put a little milk in the bottom of the pan and turn the burner to med low. Add about a 1/4 loaf of velveeta that you've cubed and a half stick of butter for each box of macaroni, and slowly stir it until melted and then turn the heat off as it can scorch easily. Add salt and pepper to taste. If it's not cheesy enough add a little more cheese. Be careful with the salt because cheese is salty and you've already salted the macaroni. Once you get this down you can experiment with different cheeses and spices until you make it your own.

Use one pound macaroni, 6 cups of water, 2 pounds of cheese, cubed, 1/2 cup milk, salt.
boil water with salt, about 6 to 8 shakes of the shaker, add macaroni and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes, stir frequently at first until it starts to boil, then occasionally, until done, about 5 minutes before macaroni is done, preheat oven to 375. Drain macaroni. In a 8 x 11 pan, add macaroni, milk and cheese, stir, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes, remove from oven and stir, bake 5 more minutes without the foil. Remove from oven, stir and let stand for about 5 minutes before serving.
