Whats the most exotic thing you have eaten???
Whats the most exotic or strangest thing you have eaten? Why did you eat it, and would you recommend it?
Answers:
Sea cucumber (a marine invertebrate that looks like a giant slug crossed with a pickle).
It's a delicacy in parts of Asia - I was served slices of steamed sea cucumber at a Chinese wedding. It tasted like chewy, slightly bitter seawater jello. Not my favorite thing!
Alligator and foreskin. That's all I'm saying.
I ate fried bugs when I was in Thailand. A local insisted I tried them. Didn't taste like much, but I was sick the next day. I don't know if it was from the bug, but I won't be eating them again.
Well I have had rattlesnake and raccon. Both were yucky.
starfish soup....it was korean....it was killer!!! one of the best soups ever!!!
alligator,,mmmm (taste like chicken) and fried rattlesnack
before i even knew i was pregnant i was eating weird for two days i ate nothing but cheetoes with sweet and sour sauce
hmm......actually i don't eat weird. The weirdest thing might be a Wendy's Frosty with fries dipped in it!
oysters and i didn't know it at the time and yes i'd recommend it.
Alligator and Rattle Snake. Both are very good and really do taste like chicken. I've seen monkey brains being eaten in the Philippines but I didn't try it.

i was in disney world at a african restaurant everything was exotic so i had to ask what each was and what was in it (i'm a vegetarian) i came across something that was fluffy and red
the cook told me it was a ragu with flour/starch i tried it and it was disgusting! at first it had no flavor but the after taste killed
Fried frogs legs in Budapest. It was good. I would have it again but the place is now closed down. I think there is a Mcdonald's in it's place!
Frog legs in France...
Alligator at a barbecue. It tastes good. I would recommend trying it.
guava.
Aligator and cow's tongue....not both at the same time though
i have eaten cow's tongue and cooked blood.
Roast wild boar in Belgium, a long time ago. Served with amazing frites (french fries) and half a baked pear. I am mostly a vegetarian now but I have to tell you, it was pretty good. Oh, and dame blanche for dessert, which is vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. That was excellent too!
Black Bear. My uncle shot one during hunting season when I was still living in New England. It was delicious.
goat-in jamaica-it was a curried stew with potatoes...it was good except for the thyme, which is used in alot of jamaican dishes--i'd recommend it though.
ackee (it's like cabbage) in coconut milk (some kind of authentic rastafarian dish) in jamaica-sooo good, but then i like health food
elk-from vermont ( i think...it was at bonnaroo and the guys camping next to us had some.) it was really good
a hamburger at some really back street cafe in paris...it was raw raw raw and had a sunny side up egg quivering on top of it...YUCK, but i didn't want to be rude, so i snuck it in a napkin in my purse and threw it away outside the cafe.
