Why is the bottom of a pineapple sweeter than the top?!

Question:

Why is the bottom of a pineapple sweeter than the top?

Answers:
The sugar content in pineapple as well as all plants develops from the bottom up! That is why they are some what sweeter on the bottom!

I'm not sure. I love pineapple, don't you? Have you ever tried it grilled? The juice gushes out when you bite into it!

I've noticed that SAME thing with apples and pears too...

The bottom's always sweeter than the top...

Maybe the sugar of the fruit coagulates more at the bottom bcuz its heavier than the water of the fruit, which rises to the top?

Because the pineapple sits upright, and all the juices flow to the bottom....

I'm just kidding, I really don't know. ;)
