Ice Cream Topping: Krunch Kote?!
Ice Cream Topping: Krunch Kote?
I am looking for some where online that I can purchase Krunch Kote- the sprinkle/nut topping servered at DQ and other ice cream places under the name of peanut butter brittle (but it is not that hard candy that you break your teeth on. If you know where I can buy some online, please reply. Thanks
Answers:
Krunch Kote contains: sugar, dry roasted granulated peanuts, rainbow sprinkles, natural and artificial flavorings, annatto seed and turmeric used as coloring agents. Essentially it is granulated peanuts covered in a flavored, hard sugar coating and mixed with sprinkles. First, sugar, water and the coloring agents are boiled to a candy stage of 275 degrees. Then the nuts and flavorings are added and you stir like mad until the sugar starts to crystallize and harden on the nuts. Then it is cooled, mixed with rainbow sprinkles and packaged.
Below are a few links for you, hope you find what you are looking for!
