Is corn bread good and whats it taste like?!

Question:

Is corn bread good and whats it taste like?

Answers:
It;s grainy but good. I make a mean pan of cornbread as I was brought up on the stuff. Love it hot with butter . Slice open a piece while its hot and smear on the marg.. or butter. Nothing like a hot piece of corn bread ... YUM YUM!!

I love corn bread. It is kind of moist and sweet, with more texture than regular bread. Warmed up with hiney drizzled on top...Oh my gosh it is too die for! Lol.

Corn bread doesn't taste to good. I put more sugar than what it recommends and mine doesn't last more than 10 minutes.

Most people I know say my bread is the best they've eaten.

its kinda like a crumbley cake......or a muffin.....its grainy and sweet, but not too sweet ... its just right...it kinda has a soft inside and a hard crunchy outside, and once u have some u can never get enough!!

ps.
try it with just a dab of (if u want it to be sweeter) then honey....( if u want it to be more regular , not as sweet tasting...) then try just a dab of butter....... my ister even dips a hot miece in cold milk. ITS DELICIOUS! you must at least try some!

i find it kn but dry. i like to have it with butter but some thing to drink is a much. it drys my mouth out quickly but so does rice.

depends on how it is prepared, i like easy jiffy boxed mix myself.

Well, there are several recipes for cornbread and it really depends on your preference. My dad makes the BEST cornbread...and he fries on top of the stove in a skillet. It is too die for! My momma makes "regular" cornbread...not too dry, not too wet...baked in the oven. My aunt Rose adds sugar to her cornbread...and to me...it tastes like cake.

You know the taste of corn you get eating tostitos? Well, you have the hint of that flavor, but the bread quality is there and of course..you got to have butter...Try it , you will probably love it. But remember all cornbread is NOT the same!
