Why doesn't caramel freeze in the freezer?!

Question:

Why doesn't caramel freeze in the freezer?

Answers:
Because the high concentration of sugar.

It is too dense to freeze in your normal every day freezer, a deep freeze will work but when out of the freezer it wont last long.

because, it's already frozen, caramel has a higher freezing temp. than water, so it's technically frozen on the counter, wierd to think about, but yeah. it doesnt need to be cold to be frozen.

i dont know but you've got my curiosity up. i do know that certian things have different freezing temps but now i'm gonna try it!! : D

Sam makes no sense.

Viscose liquids, honey, caramel, molasses, etc tend to have lower freezing temperatures than water. They can freeze and they do, it just generally colder than your freezer.

Have you ever been sugaring? Maple syrup freezes nicely in cold snow, caramel does the same thing, I've seen it.
