Eating too many potatoes,is it good for health?!

Question:

Eating too many potatoes,is it good for health?

Answers:
Excess of everything is bad esp. if you have a kidney problem you should not eat too many potatos/tomatos.

yes its good

No, too much starch is bad.

Everything that is too little or too much won't do any good. Make balance.

Eating Potatoes with balance is OK, but Potatoes are starchy and can be fattening.

No it isn't. Potatos are a starch which starch turns to sugar when it hits our systems. That is why most diabetics limit potatos in their diets. Peas and corn are also starches. We need some starch (sugar) in our diet but at a limited amount. IF you ever wonder why your diet isn't working for wieght loss and eat potatos, corn and peas everyday-theres your sign!

Potatoes are a primary staple in many diets. A lot like bread, per se. As long as you eat the skins, are not placing tons of fattening products on them or cooking them in fat constantly...they are very healthy for you. They are your carbohydrate (Although they are a starch, they are considered a vegetable by the US federal government.). You should also be including meat/protien, vegetables and fruit.

It is often been debated as to whether or not a lot of potatoes are good or not good for you. It depends on certain conditions (like hypoglycemia). But, for the most part...if you are very active---a lot of them wont do you any harm...as long as you also try to include other items in your diet.

Not good for health

I love potatoes, any way you make them taste wonderful. Except for plain, somewhere you gotta add a little Mrs. Dash or Lawry to get the best tasting, full effect.

I've been told that the carbohydrates in potatoes is not good for your health, but if eating too many potatoes is bad for your health, I am a goner, lol!

yes
