Can i sue Coca-Cola?!

Question:

Can i sue Coca-Cola?

My girlfriend and I bought a new jug of Minute Maid fruit punch. I had a glass and it tasted like comet. I grabbed another glass and it tasted the same. A third try produced the same results, as well as my girlfriends cup of juice. I put OJ in the glass instead and it tasted fine. You can smell the odor of soap coming out from the jug.

The question is, is there anything I can do about this? Can I have it tested and if something comes out toxic, can I sue the giant known as Coca-Cola????

Answers:
Yeah, if it comes back being toxic, you will definitely get a responce from Coca Cola. The only problem is proving that it's their fault and you're not that one who put the toxin in there. If it comes back as nothing, you can still complain and I'm sure you'll get a coupon for new Minute Maid.

If you can prove there is something in it. And prove you are not the one who added it. Tough case but possible. I am not a lawyer that is just my guess.

Come on, not be a retard and try to get a free ride in life. Take it to the store you bought it from and ask for a refund or replacement - I think after that whole McDonald's suit, we've been having quite enough frivolous lawsuits.

I would call the 1-800 number on the bottle, they usually have one for questions or comments. I would do it as soon as possible so they can recall any other bottles affected by this.
You probably can't sue if you don't have any long term effects or doctor's bills, but you can at least get your money back!!!!
Have them test it first to see what was in it!!

There should be an 800 number of contact address on the container. I would call a lawyer about the can you sue part. Did the amount you did drink cause harm, make you sick?

see a lawyer...save the evidence...

Basically, the answer is yes, you can try. But the burden of proof is on you, to prove that Coca Cola (Inc.) had anything to do with the condition of the product you drank.

The people at Coke may suggest that any contamination of the product occurred after it was produced and bottled. Perhaps the jug of fruit punch was stored in a warehouse at some point, and a substance was spilled on it. Perhaps a disgruntled store clerk tampered with the product, while it sat at the store (before you bought it). A quite possibly, Coke may suggest that you fouled the product yourself!

If possible, save the product in it's original container. Contact the store where the product was purchased, and explain the situation to them. It's likely that they'll offer you a refund or exchange, and it's up to you to consider that. Otherwise, the retailer can put you into contact with the Coke distributor they use. It may require a few phone calls, but you should be able to contact their Consumer Relations department. The people there can tell you how to proceed. Whatever you do, don't surrender the product for testing unless you obtain a release form. In the event that the product is "lost", you'll at least have proof that it was submitted for testing.

contact them and advise they will have u return product and you will get coupons for free products for your trouble
unless you were seriously harmed what are u going to sue for? And why?
