Can you eat "dog" ice cream?!

Question:

Can you eat "dog" ice cream?

I am planning a prank on some co-workers who steal food out of the fridge at work. At first I'm going to take one out and leave the box in the fridge to see if anyone else takes one or eats one. I was just wondering if a person ate it would they get sick or does it taste any different than regular ice cream?

Answers:
Great idea...please keep us updated on that!
I am sure the dog icecream is also safe for us humans...hahahaa

Never tried it

I would think that it would taste gross.
Visit the website of the dog ice cream brand it might tell you if it is toxic to humans
But if dogs eat it I highly doubt it's toxic to humans

i do not think it will harm them.
good idea for all the leaches!!!

We have never done the ice cream but if you go to Petco they have a doggie bar. It has treats on it that look like cookies. We keep them on our kitchen counter in a clear glass cookie jar. We give them to our dogs but they have made it into humans mouths from time to time. We did not give them to people they just help themselves. They have not got sick just laughed at.

The dog treats we have are even peanut butter flavored to they smell like peanut butter cookies.

Might be better to try pranks at home rather than work. That's a whole different set of rules/laws.

Well, if it is Frosty Paws, here are the ingredients..You can make the call, but people who do things like that sometimes get fired or worse, get arrested for assault:

Pet foods are not scrutinized with the same kid gloves that our foods are as far as the processing plant goes. It does state on the box that they are not intended for human consumption. On the other hand, I had a box of the paw print shaped ones in my freezer about 12 years ago and my three year old daughter ate one while I was in the shower. Curiosity got to me so I tried a bite of what she had left. It was not the same as ice cream other than the fact that it was cool and creamy. It has much less sugar in it and really it was most like some sort of unflavored ice cream.

All that being said....I would say GO FOR IT.

no it wouldn't be right.

Why not get some security stickers and place them in the break room.
Announce that security cameras are being used. Don't risk your job over something so trivial.
