Do normal chain grocery stores carry fresh Parsely?!

Question:

Do normal chain grocery stores carry fresh Parsely?

Like Jewel, Cub Foods, etc?

In the fresh vegetable area?

Answers:
Yes, it's very common and found in the produce section. Just make sure you don't pick up "cilantro" by mistake; it's usally very near the parsley and has a completely different flavor.

Yes they do

yes in the veggie area

Yep. Should be in the produce aisle - they sometimes sell it by the bunch, AND I've also seen it in little packets.

check in the fresh section if not ask to speak to the produce manager and see if they will carry it. happy cooking. tip: if you chew on some it freshens your breath after dinner too.

Right in the produce section. Depending on what store you go to, sometimes it's FREE. Hy-Vee's always let you have one free bunch. Imagine my shock in CA when I actually had to PAY for parsley!

I'm in the USA---I can't determine where you are---and most grocery retailers do carry fresh parsley, as well as other fresh herbs. Some stuff is seasonal, but parsley is usually available year-round.

Instead of paying maybe $1 (the going rate around here) for a bunch of parsley, you might try growing it yourself. It's actually one of the easier herbs to grow---both the flat-leaf and the curly kind. They require only partial sun, unlike herbs such as basil and tarragon.

For maybe $2 or $3, you can get a small parsley plant, in a 3 or 4 inch pot. It'll grow just fine on your windowsill. Just snip off pieces as you need them. As it grows, if you're feeling industrious, you can transplant it to a larger pot.
