lunch: soft pretzle w/ cheese
dinner: 1 pear & 1 apple
will i gain weight from this?

Agreed.... you're not eating enough. a pear and an apple is NOT dinner. they are high carb snacks. Fruit is healthy as long as it's not overdone. There's nothing healthy about the soft pretzel and cheese. That's also not a meal. The only half way decent meal you have is your breakfast. You need proteins, dairy and lots of veggies. You have none of any of those. there are plenty of low fat, flavorful meats. If you're a vegetarian, there are soy products, nuts, veggie burgers, etc., and vegetables, of course.

Is that all you ate? You need protein to keep your body running right. You definitely got your fruit servings in, but you need some protein in the form of yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese (and not the cheese that you ate on your pretzel) or just a couple of glasses of skim milk. You will not gain weight on what you ate, but your body could perceive that you are starving it and go into anti-starvation mode and you won't lose any weight. Protein also helps your body feel full longer.
Is the oatmeal that sweetened instant stuff? REAL oatmeal is better for you.
A soft pretzel isn't a very good source of any nutrients. Cheese is ok, real cheese, but watch the fat/cholesterol.
A pear & apple is a good snack but not a meal. You need several servings of fruit & VEGGIES a day. Did you have any vegetables, how about protein?

What type of exercise did you get today?
That's all an important part of losing some weight but staying healthy while doing it.

No. You should eat something more like:
B-fast: fruit.
Lunch: soup.
Dinner: salad and a little meat every third day.
In the end the best diet is no diet, just workout!
You are not eating enough and your body will start storing fat to prevent starvation. You need to eat 6 5oo calorie meals a day. High in fiber, protein and dairy.
the breakfast is perfect. the dinner should be for lunch. have a salad with a tbps. of dressing if you'd like, and a bit of chicken or a few steamed vegetables on the side. have a few nuts and drink water as snacks. :)

what you ate is healthy enough but you need more to eat. If you are concerned about weight gain eat more often, but smaller portions. Your metabolic rate will stay higher with more frequent digestion.
