Spaghetti (noodles) Long or short ?!

Question:

Spaghetti (noodles) Long or short ?

Which do you prefer ?

Answers:
The short ones straight out of the can.
Saves washing up.

I like both, some times I twirl, and sometimes I cut it up small.

super short, medium, and long. i don't care.

long.

Short: they are easier to wrap around the fork. The dangling noodles and slurping are what make you look rude.

Short / When I make my own spaghetti at home, I make two breaks in it when I am cooking it.

long of course unless you're making macaroni

Short, so they fit in the pot easier and cook faster.

long noodles.

Sometimes i snap the spaghetti in half if I'm cooking just for myself & mixing the spaghetti in the pan with fried vegies & juices etc then top with some cheese ( a meatless spaghetti no mince sauce but for normal spaghetti with mince sauce the long spaghetti

I think I am more traditional and use long. I fork swirl, then eat. Leftover sauce is good with Italian bread. There is no mess when done sopping it up.

I also mix the noodles and sauce upon completion of cooking. Otherwise, many people tend to take alot of sauce and very little spaghetti and when the meal is over, there a bunch of naked noodles. Plus mixing the sauce helps keep the spaghetti from clumping into a large glob.

Usually kids are the worst offenders for taking more sauce than noodles but even though my kids are gone, it's a habit I've kept.
