Rumor has it that Harry M. Stevens of Niles, Ohio was the first person to think of wrapping up a frankfurter in a piece of bread and calling it a Hot Dog.

well hot dogs or the dog part of the bun is a german name called frankfurter story has it that a fairy came and ate one it was to hot and was from the west so she said hot dog! thats how the name started LOL.!!!!!!!!
