Question:

What is the best drink to quench spicy food on your toungue?

i know ketchup works, but im looking for a drink

Answers:
Milk! Also- Cucumbers work.. I dont know how but they do! lol

milk

never drink water. Hot chocolate

A nice cold beer always does the trick for me. No matter the type of spicy food you are eating, there is a beer for that.

drink, couldnt say...probably milk, but the best thing overall...bread...it absorbs everything

Milk has enzymes that detach food particles from your tongue, so drink some. Also, milk is a base while spicy food is acidic, so a combination of a base and an acid creates a neutral environment. Therefore, milk is the best way to go. Trust me on this.

try fruit beer...its light and really helps

Milkl but if you are lactose in tolerant you could always try luke warm tea cause that helps too.

milk

Capsaicin is alcohol and fat soluble. A strong drink or a glass of milk will work.

milk or water will do it

Milk works well for me

Milk, but if you looking for a alcoholic drink try Cream de Coco & cream

well actually anything that is dairy will help take away the spicy sensation(milk, ice-cream, cheese, sour cream, all of those help)

A COLD JUICE WOULD HELP.......NETHING W/O ACID OR SHOULD I SAY CAFFEINE

Something sweet like juice, soda or smoothie. ?

Milk is the best, but anything creamy works pretty well. Mango juice is also good.

Something high in fat content...like milk or yoghurt drinks.

i saw on a cooking show once that milk was the best. Never use anything carbonated it just intensifies the reaction from the spice.

water...soda for me adds a wierd extra spicy tingle
