What Should I Have For Lunch - Safeway Beside Me - Healthy?!

Question:

What Should I Have For Lunch - Safeway Beside Me - Healthy?

I have a Safeway beside me...

So that is where I'll be getting my food from

I'm trying to eat healthy, but I do not want a salad

Any ideas?

Answers:
Get a fruit bowl (melons, pineapple), yogurt and some cut veggies. Put the yogurt on the fruit. Yummy. If you get the yogurt with the granola on top its extra yummy.

I'm from Canada so I don't know what safeway is...like a walmart! I always have trouble trying to figure out what to eat. What about a grilled chicken with Caesar salad. That's my daughter's favourite and it's healthy! Or how about chicken skewers and rice that's my favourite. You said no salad, um grilled chicken and some salsa.

Sushi! I love it!

Our nearby supermarket is a Safeway. They have great made-to-order subs. You can ask them to leave off the things you don't like/want. (I *think* if you buy xxx number of subs, the next one is free.)

They have single-sized plates of sushi to go.

Try single-sized soups that you can microwave, but watch out for the sodium!

Cottage cheese, the kind with fruit cocktail or crushed pineapple in it.

Nonfat yogurts are good.

Nonfat cheese on baked crackers...

And many, many other choices. Good luck to you!

If it were me I would probably just get a box of keebler cookies and a diet coke...but you said you're trying to eat healthy.
