I need energy! Anyone try this? RAW Honey,Chocolate, Cinnamom?
HI ALL!
I saw this Dr. Timothy Brantley on Rachael Ray's Talk Show. He wrote the book "The Cure". Anyhow...I'm in need of more energy! I'm 48, Male. Having a hard time gettting through the day! I don't want more Coffee! He suggests, 1/2 to whole tablespoon of Raw Honey (it can't BEE processed in any way), with a sprinkle of Chocolate Powder and Cinnamon. Has anyone tried this, do you know someone who has?
He says "The honey releases vitamins, minerals and amino acids; cinnamon feeds the pancreas to stabilize blood sugar; chocolate stimulates the brain. Put them all together, it's like "bang!"

I used to take a gulp of honey before going on a sizeable run. It gave me a nice little boost. Chocolate has caffeine in it, that may be how it stimulates the brain. I think this sounds like and interesting little concoction, I will try some when I get home from work. I used to be tired all of the time too; now I go to bed earlier. More sleep is the best thing I think. My doctor recommended melatonin. It is a natural thing (I think it is the chemical your body releases when it's time to sleep). I take it about an hour before I want to fall asleep and it really helps.
