My bread expired?!

Question:

My bread expired?

like a month ago..
but it was in my freezer, soi is it still safe to eat?
thanks

Answers:
It's safe.

nope throw it away

yes it is i freeze my bread

If it looks good when you let it set out and defrost then it should be ok...but if you see and mold or anything like that then dont eat it...also if the bread as ice on it, it might get soggy...

baked goods keep frozen one month after date on them IF they were frozen fresh. They lose their quality over time. And suffer from freezer burn eventually.

As long as it was wrapped properly, it should be OK.

Unless bread is extremely moldy, it can be eaten indefinitely. Sailors used to eat hardtack which is nothing more than biscuits baked til they are hard. They store for months and months. Older bread can be used for toast, bread crumbs, croutons, etc.
I buy extra bread every month and store it in the freezer. Rolls and buns as well.

Bread is so...cheap you can just get new one.

You wouldn't wanna eat some old bread that might give ya a stomach ache for no reason.
