I have eaten my last Hershey Bar today...?!

Question:

I have eaten my last Hershey Bar today...?

The plant in California that has been making Hershey Bars in CA since 1965(and to "remain competitive", which really means the top stockholders need to stuff much more cash into their mouths, wink-wink) is moving of all places...to MEXICO.

Have you ever driven a car that was Made in Mexico versus the same exact model the was Made in Germany...like night and day!

Now just imagine...No FDA in Mexico, and people who really care about what their doing...RIGHT...

Thanks for the memories Hershey...

Answers:
That's too bad, but hey look on the bright side...the Hershey bars in the stores now, and most likely for the next few months, are still authentic American made.
So stock up and freeze them!

NO -- say it isn't so! What happened to Hershey, Pennsylvania? BOOOO!

I am a chocoaloic. I love hersey chocolate. i am sad that they are moving. i agree that the chocolate could be not as good as it was being made in the US.

Not sure what your question was but do agree that realy sucks and maybe I'll be anti-hershey bar as well. Although, I don't eat them to begin with not a fan of Chocolate. Well, alls well that ends well hope it all works out for you and now maybe you'll find a new and better chocolate bar to enjoy.

i am sorry u feel that way

Well we can thank NAFTA and Bill Clinton for all of this. A year from now we could possibly be seeing a recall of hershey bars due to lead contamination. Money as the movitvator has taken thousands of jobs out of the country and we can only expect more of the same.

Good for you for quitting Hershey Chocolate. Now go out and get yourself a Cadbury Bar. They are far superior than American chocolate anyway.

No big loss

Cadbury, Green & Blacks, Dagoba, Scharffenberger, Ritter and Lindt are far superior to Hersheys anyway.
