How long can you store basamani rice in air tight container?!

Question:

How long can you store basamani rice in air tight container?

Answers:
If you replace the air with CO2, Carbon Dioxide, it will keep forever. CO2 is heavier than air. This is how ::
Put the rice into a large container leaving about 10% of the air space vacant.
Get a hunk of Dry Ice (CO2) and put it on top.
Top it off with an air tight lid and voila, Basmati that will keep forever!
You're welcome!
.

ummm, that would be basmati, i think...
the best rice is the one which is the freshest, that means the best one right now will come from the 2007 crop.
You can store it for a long time, providing the container is tight. Rice will keep for a long time, but it will gradually lose the flavor of fesh product.

Indefinitely.

That would be approximately 2 years if stored at a cool temp in the refrigerator. If you were to freeze it in an air tight container it would last indefinately.
