If it is made right,I LOVE a really good homemade German Chocolate cake with the frosting on top. I don't know what kind of frosting that is made for that cake,but it is sooo good! If I can't find a really good German Chocolate Cake,then I also love a really good Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting,YUMMY! ;-) Of course I have to wash my piece of cake down with a nice cold glass of milk!! ;-)
My grandma makes me a AWESOME double chocolate fudge cake for me whenever I come home on leave, so friggin good!

It was a carrot cake from an Amish stand in Philadelphia's Reading Terminal.
This was over 10 years ago, and I still mentally taste the vibrant flavors and the creaminess of the icing.
I have traveled all over the world, and have yet to find a carrot cake this good, including my own.

I think it is called an Oreo cookie cake. The recipe is on the Kraft web site. The centre of the cake has an almost cheesecake tasting frosting in the centre. Sooooooooo good
My favorite is Chocolate Decadence cake, which is made without any flour. Just egg whites, yolks, sugar, Baker's chocolate, cream of tartar, butter. I serve topped with whipped cream rather than the usual chocolate icing. It's hard to believe that it contains no flour. Chocolate Decadence cake is basically a cooked chocolate mousse. I got my recipe from Carnegie Science Center's kitchen science demo. See the reference below.
